Autumn Davis is an award-winning critical care registered nurse (CCRN), Founder of Simply Real Underground Fitness and Simple Anesthesia Solutions, and a digital content creator. Her leadership and management skills were utilized during her time working with implantable medical devices, and leading clinical teams within the hospital in diverse settings such as critical care, emergency department, operating room, and office settings. She enjoys and seeks challenging positions working as a team leader, developing and implementing projects, managing and directing care, and leading quality improvement projects within hospitals.
Autumn is a natural problem solver. She develops solutions to complex problems which improve medical software, hospital and business systems, and work processes. Autumn utilized her leadership skills for her doctoral thesis, where she managed a team to improve the hospital discharge process at a community hospital. Her marketing and consulting skills were used while collaborating with executive management during development and implementation of electronic health record (EHR) system adjustments within Cerner and during her work establishing a heart failure program providing patient support, assessment, counseling, and education.
Autumn is a fast learner and seeks educational opportunities by attending conferences (Women In Tech, Splunk, American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, to name a few), enrolling in online learning courses, and further represented by her doctorate studies. A graduate of Clemson University and with 3 years of doctorate graduate study in anesthesia at UNC, Autumn has over a decade of experience working in nursing, with a specialty in cardiovascular ICU, emergency department (ED), Operating Room (OR), and Trauma ICU units. She’s a member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, the Institute for Healthcare Improvement and the American Professionals for Patient Safety.

A certified fitness, yoga, Pilates, and kickboxing instructor, Autumn is passionate about helping people overcome uncertainty and fear to build practical, healthy lives.
